This piece was woven by women of the Ersari
Turkmen tribes, around end of the Nineteen Century, Beginning of the Twentieth
Century.
The octagonal major medallions (GULS) have floral forms resembling clover-
leaves in their interiors, with a star-like motif in the center. Beautiful burgundy
red on the field.
Traces of wear. Kilims on both ends, still there but incomplete.
